Background
I co-founded Women 4 Women, a Brooklyn-based community with the mission to promote equity for all women through support, creativity, and community. What started as a passion project for Rachel Leathers and myself evolved into an inclusive online community.
We brought visibility and funding to existing women’s organizations and built issue-based campaigns as the need for action arose.
We launched a collection of W4W merchandise. 100% of the proceeds went to organizations supporting marginalized groups of women.
Women 4 Women began with this video series that encouraged women to vote in the 2016 midterm elections. We featured real quotes from male politicians on a variety of issues impacting women such as reproductive rights and equal pay.
During the height of the pandemic, we wanted to encourage women to stay home while continuing to support them. We hosted online events to raise money for a variety of causes.
